Elfing Around!

I am always looking for really cool and fun traditions to start with my children. I have found the most awesome tradition that you can do with your children for Christmas - Elfing Around

It all takes place during the 12 days before Christmas. Your child's Elfing experience begins with a letter from your child's elf announcing their arrival. This helps to build the anticipation for that first day. When the Elf arrives that is when the FUN begins. The Elf arrives with a letter explaining that they must stay still during the day so no one sees their magic. At night is when the MAGIC begins. There is a parent's guide to help help the stage for each little 5-15 minute scene. The next day the child must find their elf. The elf leaves clues to find them. One day there is even a hunt. So much fun! On December 24th is when the elf goes back to the North Pole until next year. Elf dolls enhance Christmas!
No worries about repeating the same days for the next year because Elfing Around offers a parent guide for the next year. You can even get fun boxes to add a little extra fun to each day.

Each Elfing Around kit includes:
Boy/Girl Elf (12 inches tall)
Parent Adventure Guide Book
Letter from Elf
2 Elf Tattoos
Birthday Card from your child's Elf on their Birthday

Easy way to redo an electrical plug...

We picked up two old neat looking lamps at Goodwill this weekend...

John was a bit afraid of the older plug-ins so we made a quick stop at Rural King.
After speaking to an associate there we purchased these...

Handy dandy little plug replacements that are extremely easy to use!

You simply cut the old plug off....
Slide the new plug apart.
Pull your wire through the new plug and slide it into the hole on the middle part.
Squeeze it together and slide into the outer part.
Until it clicks in place and you have a new plug on your device!

A wonderful treat....

This is one of my favorite Christmas Season Treats.....
I long for Girl Scout Thin Mints year round
and now I found a way to have them!!!

CoffeeMate Peppermint Mocha Creamer!
I make a pot of Velvet Chocolate Coffee and then make a cup and add around
3 to 4 Tablespoons of Sugar
And enough of this coffee creamer to make the coffee nice and light!

Stir it up and it's like drinking Liquid Thin Mints.
I have found this is powder form and liquid form!

I have BOTH!!! Powder form will save for a while!

Enjoy!

Election Day....

Are you voting? Just be sure to vote your heart. I won't say who I'm voting for though.

Post Signature....

I had been wondering where to put one so that it automatically added to my posts and I found it!
Tonight I have bowling league. Wow I didn't remember it being this tough! LOL! It had been 10 years since I bowled on a league and 5 years since I bowled but I jumped at the opportunity when my dad called! LOL! My average started at a whopping 126 and is now up to 130 as of last week! We shall see tonight where it is and I think I'll start posting my games each week! Maybe it will give me some motivation about doing better and focusing when bowling!

Ahhhhhhhhh The Time Change....

I love the fall time change! Extra hour to get stuff done! Though I didn't sleep worth a darn last night! UGH! LOL! I was awake every hour or so!

I don't think it had anything to do with the time change but more to the coffee I drank 2 hours before bed!

I went grocery shopping yesterday and found PepperMint Mocha Coffee Creamer! LOL! I love this stuff! If you make Chocolate Velvet Coffee then add some sugar and this creamer you will have a very close version of Liquid Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies! LOL!

YUMMY!!!!

Well since I didn't sleep well last night on my way to work this morning I stopped and bought myself a Java Monster. Loca Mocha Flavor and drank that. WOWOWOWOW! Can you you say ENERGY!! LOL! I'm bouncing off the walls! LOL!

Oh well! I love the taste of those and much cheaper than hitting Starbucks!
