Halloween Lanyard.

I was bored last night so I redid my lanyard for work..
I needed something for the Holidays! :-) So once Halloween is over I will need to give it a makeover again. :-)

Wow it's been a while since I have updated! I've done quite a lot too!
Pajamas!?!?!
Miss Renee needed Pajamas for Pajama Day at school.... Of course she tells me at 6:00 the night before she needs them! LOL!!
Just like having an ice cream before bed! :-)


And Miss Renee also had a Scooter accident that resulted in a nice fat lip and some really good road rash. She is feeling better now.

Billie Jean is enjoying her sophomore year and is really doing well in her classes. She has taken quite an interest in journalism this year. :-)

I will scan Billie Jean's school picture soon and post it here to the web.

I am also working on doing portraits and getting my portfolio together for that. :-)

I am working on two things right now....
Laptop Sleeves for my husband and I!
We are taking a trip this weekend and will be taking our
laptops because that's the kind of geeks we are! LOL!

Oh well I have some cool skull fabric I'm making John's
from and not sure about the material for mine yet! LOL!

We had a little visitor last night I think it was an unexpected for him as
it was for us though!Poor thing flew into the window that was right behind us as we were sitting on the porch relaxing!
Then really seemed to attached to John who held him for a while!
He even sat on Renee's shoulder for a bit before flying away!
I have more photos but I haven't gotten them uploaded yet.
So I will hopefully tonight!

I found the pattern/tutorial in a magazine and I think it turned out beautifully!
She really likes it too! :-)

And it was SO easy! Had it totally finished in under 1 hour and 30 minutes! WOO HOO! Though I hate gathering! LOL!

Asian Influence!

I'm working on a skirt for Renee! :-) I will be finishing it this evening hopefully! I am using these fabrics! :-) This will be a two layer ruffle skirt! :-) I got the top layer finished last night and the second layer I'm in the process of gathering now :-) I love the asian fabrics! I have to decide what I want to use this fabric for too! LOL!
But this beautiful flannel fabric is for some pajama pants for my daughters!! Hopefully I will get some work done on them this weekend.Be sure to comment on my give away post to win the cute little wallet I made!

Sewing Room is Rearranged and just waiting....

for my new cutting table! :-) Which I can pick up July 18th!

I have made so much more counter space and incorporated my ebay photobox into the area also!!

Wow it's been a while! I've been so busy but haven't had time to really make much! (Sewing wise that is!) LOL!

I have been baking and making some cakes...

This is a peanut butter cake recipe that I found here...
I used Wilton's Chocolate ButterCream Recipe for the icing and Wilton's ButterCream Recipe with about 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter added in! :-)
It was delicious!
This was my first try at using Fondant Icing! I used some of Wilton's already made fondant! So easy to use and tastes really good too!

Just another day...

It's Tuesday March 24 and today is just another day LOL! I'm at work and wishing I were home.
I had my Monday Night Bowling league last night... I bowled a 176, 184 and then royally messed up on the last game with a whopping 135. UGH! Why can't I ever get 3 games that are decent.
Oh well.
I have signed up to do a Craft Show in June with my neighbor and my mom, which ought to be interesting! I truly can't wait! We will be selling jewelry that my neighbor makes, handmade laundry soap and bath salts that my mom makes and I will be selling some totes and nursing covers that I make. Speaking of which I need to get busy! LOL!
I will get some done this week hopefully and maybe some small doll quilts and a variety of items to sell.

Wow I didn't realize I hadn't posted here in SO long! LOL! I've been busy with small projects around the house and big projects at work! Plus I'm starting to sell a few things on ebay again. :-)

This past Sunday I did finally sew again for fun! LOL! I made Renee a tote bag out of one of her old Easter dresses.
Here is the dress I used.. :-) Very Springy!

And here is the tote bag I made for her from it. :-) She's so happy with it!
She's been using it all week to carry her books to school in!

to do the zipper pocket inside! This made it SO easy!
Though my green zipper doesn't quite match! LOL!

WOW!!! 12 + inches of snow within the last two days!!! No school for the girls and today they are on a 2 hour delay! UGH~

It's so pretty out though! Yestday John and I got out for a bit and got stuck at the end of out subdivision! **Okay to hear John tell it ... I GOT US STUCK!** I'm too used to driving a Jeep and the saab doesn't sit nearly as tall as the Jeep. LOL!

Oh well we got out and can go now :-) He's off to work today and I will be heading out shortly!

Wow it's cold here again!

I haven't been here in so long I don't know where to begin...

Well a few days before Christmas the Jeep aka Jeepidy(as my daughter Renee calls it) decided to die.. LOL! We knew this was coming but still a pain!

But I got me a new to me car on December 26th. This car is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice and fun to drive!

It's a 1997 Saab 9000 Turbo CSE. Smooth ride great drive and does quite well in the snow and filth. There are only a few things that need to be fixed. Like the washer fluid bottle for the windshield wipers....

What a PITA to not have fluid in the land of salt on the roads!

I have been doing a bit of sewing lately. I really needed to make me a new purse and I did last night..
